How do I download a Snapchat video with audio?
Paste the profile, story or Spotlight link into the field and press Download. Pick the clip from the results and hit download. We save the MP4 with the original audio track exactly as Snapchat serves it — no muting, no re-encoding. Some snaps are silent by origin.
Can I download a full Snapchat story?
Yes, as long as the profile is public and the story is active. The tool lists every snap currently in the story — video and photo — and you can download any clip separately. Expired or deleted stories are not available.
Do I need to log in or install an app?
No. ServaVid works in the browser, with no Snapchat account, password or app. That is also why private content is out of reach: everything we read is a public page.
How do I download highlights from a profile?
Paste the profile link and open the Highlights tab. You will see the published highlight collections; tap one to view its clips, then download what you need.
How do I download a Spotlight video?
In Snapchat, tap Share on the Spotlight clip and copy the link, then paste it here. You can also paste a direct MP4 link from Snapchat's CDN.
Why is a story or profile missing?
Common reasons: the profile is private, the story expired, the account was deleted, or the content is not available in your region. Try another public profile to confirm the tool is working.
What quality and format do I get?
We save the original file Snapchat serves to the web without re-encoding, as MP4 (H.264). Resolution varies by clip; the web rendition is usually lower than the in-app original.
Do you store the videos?
No. Downloads stream straight from Snapchat's servers to your device. We do not store video files or keep a history of what you download.
Is it free? Are there limits?
Yes, completely free. We apply a light per-minute request limit to protect the service from heavy automated use; normal use is unlimited.
Do you add a watermark?
We never add a logo or watermark. The file comes as it is from the source; if a watermark exists in the original, it stays.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in Safari or Chrome. On iPhone the file appears in Files and can be saved to Photos. No extra app is required.
Can I download private snaps or memories?
No. ServaVid does not bypass privacy or access restricted content. Only download public content you own or have permission to save, and respect copyright and Snapchat's terms.
